One of the questions we always ask our new clients is, why do you
advertise in the Yellow Pages? Throughout the 21 years of creating
effective campaigns, we often come across the same old answer: "I have to
be there". It's unfortunate that companies feel they need to spend
hundreds of thousands of dollars a year "just because."
Fortunately, we don't subscribe to that theory and believe it is
extremely important that our clients know exactly why they advertise
year after year. We also feel it is extremely important that our clients
know just how much sales revenue they should expect from their
investments.
One of the best kept secrets of Yellow Pages advertising is the ability
to determine the effectiveness of a specific ad or ads. No other medium
can produce or track the results quite as efficiently as the Yellow
Pages. As one of the Pioneers of the "results driven advertising"
approach, many of our clients have doubled, tripled, quadrupled, even
twentysomethingupled their directory investment. Imagine if your
portfolio manager was that good! Now when we ask our clients why they
advertise in the yellow pages, the answer is "Because it makes me
money." Finally an answer you can't argue with!
